Cebuano grapplers shine in Dumau Jiujitsu Championship

CEBU, Philippines – The Cebuano grapplers showcased their wares well to rake medals in the 2017 DUMAU International Jiujitsu Championship the other day at the SM Seaside City.

Young jiujitsu fighters in the likes of Enzo Damaolao of Over Limit Jiujitsu Association and Josh Ybañez of Atos Philippines grabbed medals in the kids/teen categories.

Leo Paolo Gaerlan of Atos Philippines led the charge after winning the gold medal in the purple belt class. Blue belt bets in Patrick Joshua Cuizon of Atos, Kurt Norman Ocenar of Pato Studio and Gian Sebastian Lucero of Over Limit also dominated their respective weight classes.

Cebuano white belters who delivered were Josephus Guadez of Atos, Honey leis Mionda of Pato Studio, Analily Lao and Odie Damaolao of Over Limit Jiu Jitsu Association and Rhyle Lugo of Deftac Ribeiro.

In the team competition, Deftac Ribeiro came on top, followed by Over Limit and Atos. (LPM) (FREEMAN)
