Cop loses gun during house burglary

CEBU, Philippines – A policeman who is assigned at the Firearms, Explosives Security Service Agency and Guards Supervisory (FESSAGS) in Cebu City has claimed he lost his service firearm and other valuables in a burglary while he and his family were asleep Sunday.

SPO2 Cresenciano Sayson, 48, married, and a resident of Upper Tawason, Mandaue City woke up the following day to find his 9mm caliber pistol together with three of the gun's magazines, a digital camera worth P12,000, two cellular phones, and P1,500 missing.

He immediately informed the police in barangay Canduman.

PO2 Arnold Villacampo of the Canduman police station said two jalousie blades were missing in one of the windows on the second floor of his house. (FREEMAN)
