CEBU, Philippines - A seasoned hotelier has just been appointed director of sales at Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu.

Arabella “Lella” Barz has an impressive career that spans 20 years in the hospitality industry under different international hotel brands in the Philippines. Here initial entry into the industry saw her in various supporting roles in Food and Beverage and the Executive Office, before moving up to the Sales Department to handle corporate accounts and events.

As she progressed to leadership position in sales, she focused on developing local and foreign accounts and FIT’s, in sync with forging more revenues in Corporate Sales and Travel Trade, as well as other market segments, including Catering and Food and Beverage.

Commenting on Ms. Barz’s appointment, general manager Harold Rainfroy said, “I am delighted to welcome Lella to the team. She has our full support in implementing the knowledge and experiences she has gained over the past years, which will help further strengthen our position in the market.”
