Lawyer Joje Zamora Decal, president of CELLA and Chief of Staff of Congressman Benhur Salimbangon, who is actually based in Manila, came home to celebrate her birthday a full moon ago. With delightful lunch at Circa 1900 resto, Joje gathered her relatives and friends from the judiciary as well as colleagues from CELLA, and from the Beautiful Cebu Movement headed by Mariquita Yeung. Also present was Joje's better half, Atty. Dean Decal.
Another Manila-based friend who flew in just to be with relatives and friends on his birthday was Rey Remonde. Wife Ava was quite happy Rey could make it to Cebu on his birthday despite his busy schedules in the Big City. More power to you guys!
And Engr. Ed Baquitin, PP of SUKNA marked his 68th birthday with dinner at the Golden Valley Hotel Grand Ballroom. His guests were Vice Mayor Edgar Labella and Councilor Bebs Andales and some SUKNA officers like PP Mike Aton, Mayet de Egurrola, PP Rey Batiquin, Loy Jurado, Cesar Albor, CTMA Pres. Ryan Secretarya and SUKNA Pres. Joel Asuncion. Mrs. Batiquin was very much present as well as immediate members of his family. There was fun, fun and fun with Sam Costanilla and Max Andrino hosting the program after the sumptuous dinner.
