‘KMJS’ bids farewell to Asia’s Iron Lady

CEBU, Philippines - “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” (KMJS) looks back at the colorful life of the late Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago in tonight’s episode.

 Senator Miriam earned the moniker “Iron Lady of Asia” because of her battle against graft and corruption. Her fiery speeches, sound bites, and quotable quotes only added to her charm. This is why it is not surprising that the whole nation is in mourning after finding out that the former lawmaker died last Thursday (September 29) after battling lung cancer for two years.

 “KMJS” pays tribute to the beloved public servant as it shares some of the most unforgettable moments with the late senator, including her famous lines, and Jessica Soho’s interview last 2014.
