Lorma Colleges Senior and Science High schools seized three gold medals

The Lorma Colleges Senior and Science High schools proved their mettle once more as they seized three gold medals in the recently held Fully Residential Schools International Symposium held in Putra Jaya, Malaysia from Jul. 28 to Aug. 1, 2017.The sweeping triumph of the Lorma schoolers is a first in FRSIS history. Sixty-nine schools from Malaysia and 10 other schools from Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines competed. The gold awardee theme presentations were as follows: ‘Browsing the Filipino Interpretation of Digital Volunteerism’, ‘Characterization and Evolution of the Filipino Youth Through Leadership and Volunteerism’ and ‘Uplifting the Bayan-i Culture within the Filipino Youth-The Race to Nation-building’. Marie Andersen Badua, Hanna Nicole Ramos and Ruth Angel Cetro were adjudged Best Speakers for the excursion presentation, while Maurin Jam Paulete Marron was chosen as the official representative of all international delegates before the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia. Lorma Colleges BED director Elizabeth Camara and team coach Fernando Oringo led the winning team.
