WATCH: Nevada erases 14-point lead in over a minute, forces OT and wins
MANILA, Philippines – Usually, when a basketball team is down by 14 points with a little over a minute left in the game, it's already a done deal.
But the Nevada Wolf Pack refused to roll over and pulled off a stunning comeback for a 105-104 victory over New Mexico in the US NCAA tourney on Saturday night (Sunday in Manila).
Nevada was behind 76-90 when they unleashed an 18-4 run highlighted by six triples to send the game into overtime.
The Wolf Pack found themselves in the same position in the extra period, 102-104, with six seconds left.
But Jordan Caroline hit the game-winning daggger trey to complete their majestic comeback.
