Man punched by father, hacked by brother

CEBU, Philippines - A drinking session among family members turned bloody when a heated argument escalated to a fistfight, followed by a man being hacked by his brother in Sitio Kintanar, Barangay Cogon-Pardo, Cebu City.

Robert Fausto was allegedly hacked by his own brother, Jimrick Bayron, with a bolo after the latter saw his brother having a fistfight with their father.

Based on initial investigation of the police, Robert was drinking with his father, Rolando, when a heated argument ensued.

Rolando allegedly punched Robert, which started the fistfight.

Jimrick arrived and saw his brother and father fighting so he got a bolo and allegedly hacked his brother several times.

The sister of Robert and Jimrick also arrived and tried to help his hacked brother, but their father allegedly also beat her up.

Robert and Rachelle were taken to the nearest hospital and are now in stable condition. (FREEMAN)
