Poe nakulangan sa trabaho ni Mar sa DOTC

MANILA, Philippines — Kulang sa pagpaplano at pagpapatupad ng mga proyekto ang nakitang kakulangan ni Sen. Grace Poe sa naging trabaho ni Liberal Party standard bearer Mar Roxas bilang kalihim ng Department of Transportation and Communication DOTC.

Sa isang presidential forum na dinaluhan ng kapwa presidential bets sa 2016 ay sinabi ni Poe na marami pa dapat nagawa si Roxas.

"I think more could have been done. I think that our people deserve better and I think that it's really a matter of vision, planning and execution and leadership that could have spelled the difference," komento ni Poe kagabi nang tanungin tungkol sa problema ng Metro Rail Transit (MRT).

Itinalagang kalihim ng DOTC si Roxas noong 2011 hanggang 2012 bago niya pinamunuan ng Department of Interior and Local Government matapos masawi sa aksidente si Jesse Robredo.

"I've been very fair in the hearings that I've conducted with the DOTC. Of course, Secretary Mar was the DOTC secretary preceding this one and we know that we have some questions about what happened during his term," dagdag ng senadora.

Si Poe ang nangunguna sa pagdinig ng Senado sa mga problema ng MRT.

Tatakbong pangulo si Poe ngunit nahaharap siya sa apat na disqualification case sa Commission on Elections, kung saan kinukuwestyon ang kaniyang citizenship.
