"The Vice President... was asking advice for instance on what to do. So I did not offer to help. He asked for advice on how to handle the situation amongst other things," paliwanag ng Pangulo sa Presidential Forum of the Foreign Correspondents Association of the Philippines.

"[The] Vice President replied the family is hurting from all the lies and baseless accusations, especially his wife, Dr. Elenita Binay. At this point the President asked how he can help or "paano ako makakatulong?" pahayag ni Remulla.

"At the end of the day, 'yun na nga, sabi ko sa kanya, the truth will come out; and between the two of us, you will know what the truth is so, you will know what will be coming out.”
