MANILA, Philippines - On October 21, the first "self-tying shoes"  was introduced to the world. And the first person to have them is none other than the star of the movie that inspired the product: Michael J. Fox of the 1980s movie "Back to the Future Part II."

The shoe designer sent a pair to the star, alongside a letter that says, "As the first, most celebrated wearer of the Nike Air Mag, we wanted you to be the first to receive a living pair."

Fox did not just receive a pair. Apart from that, he also appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Live, Wednesday, wearing the shoes as Marty McFly, a passenger in a DeLorean driven by Christopher Lloyd.

Below is a video showing Fox fit the shoes for the first time.
