MANILA, Philippines -- Andray Blatche epitomized the slogan of Gilas Pilipinas' campaign in the 2015 FIBA Asia Men's Championship on Wednesday night against Japan.
Blatche showed how big his heart is as he played through pain to help Gilas survived Japan, 73-66, at the start of the second round.
Blatche who hobbled and played on one foot in the second half finished with 18 points including clutch baskets in the endgame. The big man also hauled down 10 rebounds in what FIBA Asia commentators termed as "heroic performance."
