The PBA opened its 38th season with exceptional ratings Sunday. According to Nielsen Media Research NUTAM, the opening game between Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and Global Port Batang Pier had an average rating of 2.7 percent or over 1.1 million viewers, representing an increase of 31 percent in viewership compared to last year’s opening day game.
