Stars and icons in the entertainment industry were crowned and recognized during the recent 27th PMPC Star Awards for Movies held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila, Pasay City. Among them were Mother Lily Monteverde of Regal Films, Joel Lamangan, Wenn Deramas, Christopher De Leon, Tirso Cruz III, Eugene Domingo, Coco Martin and Ai Ai Delas Alas.
