Banta ni VP Sara kay Marcos: Seryoso at totoo – NBI
MANILA, Philippines — Idineklara ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) na “seryoso at totoo” ang naging banta ni Vice President Sara Duterte laban sa buhay ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at iba pang opisyal. Sa pagdinig kahapon ng impeachment court, sinabi ni Atty. Jeremy Lotoc, Regional Director ng National Bureau of Investigation-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (NBI-BARMM) na ang pahayag ng Bise Presidente ay maituturing na isyu sa seguridad batay sa resulta ng kanilang imbestigasyon sa pagbabanta nito noong Nobyembre 23, 2024.
“We want to establish the intent of the Vice President and that intent is crucial in our investigation whether those utterances made by the Vice President were just a product of a temporary fit of anger, spur of the moment, or were they really serious, actual, and real threat?”, ani Lotoc na sinabing seryoso at totoo ang pagbabanta base sa resulta ng kanilang imbestigasyon.
“The Vice President was furious and fuming mad when she uttered. We saw in the video, when we ran it, if I’m not mistaken, more or less 8 times cursing at the President, first lady, and the former speaker of the house,” paliwanag pa ni Lotoc.
Sinabi ni Lotoc, nagpahayag din ng pagkabahala sa banta ni VP Duterte si PBBM, National Security Council (NSC), Philippine National Police (PNP) at Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
Ayon kay Lotoc, mismong ang NSC ay ikinonsidera rin na ang nasabing pagbabanta sa buhay ng Pangulo ay tunay na seryoso habang iniimbestigahan din aniya ng PNP ang sinasabing ‘assassin’ na kinontrata umano nito ang lahat ng banta ay ikinokonsidera nilang seryoso.
