16 LGUs set satellite registration of voters

CEBU, Philippines —  At least 16 local government units in Cebu Province have participated in satellite registration of voters for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections on December 5, 2022.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) in Cebu Province bared the schedule of registrations in each of towns and cities.

In Minglanilla town, the satellite registration will be at the Grub Hub Food Park Mall for all the barangays.

In Talisay City, the satellite registration is at Starmall. Voter registration in barangays of San Roque (July 7) and Owak (July 8) will be at the barangay hall.

In Barili, residents of Barangay Mantayupan will register at the covered court on July 16.

In Tabogon, residents from barangays of Manlagtang, Somosa, and Sambag will have their voters’ registration at Manlagtang basketball court while Barangay Taba-ao residents will be at Taba-ao basketball court today, July 6.

In Barangay Salag, San Isidro and San Vicente, the venue will be at San Isidro basketball court on July 7; Barangay Ilihan and Managse will be at the basketball court on July 8; in Barangay Libjo, Caduawan and Mabuli, registration is at Libjo basketball court on July 9.

In the town of Tabuelan, registration of Barangay Kanluhangan residents will be at the health center on July 13.

There's also an exclusive special registration for the youth at the ground floor of the municipal hall building on July 14. While those in Barangay Kanlim-ao, the venue of the registration is at the covered court on July 16.

In Compostela, the schedule of the satellite registration of Barangay Estaca (July 8) and Barangay Basak (July 16) will be at the barangay hall.

In Liloan, the schedule of Barangay Calero residents will be on July 8, Tayud (July 13) San Vicente (July 14) at their respective barangay hall.

The town of Poro, Camotes, the schedule of the satellite registration of Barangay Esperanza (July 7), Cagcagan (July 8), Mercedes (July 9), Adela (July 13), San Jose (July 14), Daan Paz (July 15), Rizal (July 16), Santa Riza (July 19), Paz (July 20), Altavista (July 22) and Libertad (July 21).

The towns of San Francisco, Sogod, Tudela, Consolacion, Alcantara and Malabuyoc and the City of Danao have also set satellite registration in their respective areas.

The registration of voters already started on July 5 to July 23 for the upcoming Barangay and SK Elections. — GMR (FREEMAN)
