How do we remind the public about what the mayor did? One netizen suggested showing that controversial 1993 film “Humanda ka Mayor” by Carlo J. Caparas, loosely based on the case.

While the film wasn’t about Sanchez himself, the villain, Mayor Miguel Beltran, played by actor Dick Israel, looked so much like Sanchez, down to the bad haircut.
