What’s in a name? No wait…

DEADLY INTENT. The new CIDG-7 chief, Lito Patay is turning heads because of his name. “Patay” is both Bisaya and Tagalog for “dead.” Despite this Patay assured the public that he and his men are out to arrest, not kill.

Netizens immediately went nuts with their comments:

“Congratulations, sir. But I hope you don’t live up to your name,” one netizen said.

“Stop laughing,” said another netizen, “he was dead serious when he said they are out to arrest, not kill.”
