Banig residences. A condo owner recently had his unit turned over to him. He had bought everything for the unit -furniture, tables, and all- and everything had been delivered except for the sofa bed.
For the meantime he told a friend he would have to sleep on a mat (banig).
The friend laughed. The owner bought the condo unit for P1.1 million and now he will sleep in that unit on a mat until the bed is delivered.
"Wa ra'y problema oy," the owner said, "anad baya ta'g banig bata pa ta."
