FRIENDS. Four close friends from Tacloban who went to Manila with a group of evacuees from Leyte shortly after Yolanda, have not returned home. The four, both college graduates but jobless at home, were able to find jobs in Manila where they have decided to take up residence.

BLESSING. The evacuees said Yolanda, though destructive, was a blessing in disguise to them. "We were jobless for months after graduation until Yolanda came," said one of the young men. They have not returned home since they went with a group of evacuees on board a US cargo plane.
