By force of habit

SHOES. An applicant  for a job in a private firm took off his shoes as he entered the manager's office located on the 9th floor of a building here. Some of the applicants seated on a sofa laughed. "Tagadiin man ka, bay?" asked someone.

HABIT. The manager's secretary said: "He did it by force of habit. Sign man na gud sa maayong pamatasan." She went on: "Ingon sad ana ang gibuhat ko sa unang pagsud ko ining opisinaha, mao nga nadawat ko." Later it was learned that the manager who came from a town in south Cebu also did the same thing as he entered the office he now heads six years ago.
