MOSQUITO NETS. A rural health worker told an Ear informer that many, if most, poor families in the rural areas today no longer sleep under mosquito nets. He said even in the urban areas mosquito nets are no longer used by many. "Naay usa ka molupyo sa usa ka slum sa siyudad nga miingon nga kinaraan na kining moskitero," the health worker said.

AGAINST DENGUE. The same rural health worker called on the government to launch a campaign seeking the return of the mosquito nets. He said when everyone used to sleep under the mosquito nets the cases of dengue among our poor families were not as high as these days.
