Emmanuel Villaruel - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines — Cebuano cagers who aspire to become part of the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws basketball team in the UAAP will have a chance to do so.

This as Tamaraws head coach Denok Miranda will be coming over to Cebu to hold an open tryouts on Friday, March 15, at the Capitol Parish Gym along Escario Street in Cebu City.

Miranda, a champion point guard with the Tamaraws during his UAAP days and an ex-PBA player, will oversee the proceedings of the one-day search for hoop talents together with his former FEU teammate and now assistant coach Paul Alelu Flores.

Time slot is set from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for high school (those born between 2007-2010) and from 12 noon to 2 p.m. for college aspirants (those born between 2004-2006).

Miranda hopes to spot hardcourt potentials who are interested in joining the Tamaraws.

Its also part of FEU s massive buildup for the next UAAP season.
