#TeamFrasco Friendship Ride set for February 27

CEBU, Philippines — It’s all systems go for the #TeamFrasco Friendship Ride slated on February 27. It is open to all bikers in Cebu.

The fun ride spearheaded by Cebu Fifth District Rep. Vincent Franco “Duke” Frasco will simultaneously start at Titay’s Liloan Bus Stop and at Bingay Gym in Borbon.

It will take the participants to the scenic routes and breath-taking views along Cebu’s fifth district.They will converge in Carmen for the finish at the world-class Cebu Safari and Adventure Park.

Duke Frasco, an avid sportsman himself having completed several major marathons and triathlons here and on foreign shores, aims to provide opportunities for the Cebuanos to engage in sports that is beneficial to the people’s overall well-being while promoting local tourism and supporting local businesses and vendors.

“It’s an opportunity to make positive impact in the midst of this pandemic by helping our constituents keep their physical and mental heath,” Frasco said.

In compliance with existing health and safety protocols on Covid-19, riders will be required to wear face masks and fill up health declaration forms before the race.

Entry fee is pegged at P100 inclusive of an event shirt, post-ride snacks, freebies and raffle. It also entitles the participants to a 50 percent discount on regular ticket for one-day admission to the park, which is extended to their family members on the event day.

Registration booths are located at 7-Eleven across Liloan municipal hall, Plaza Food House & Balwarte ni Vossing in Carmen, and at the Cong. Frasco satellite office in Borbon.

Registration is now going on and will end on February 24. — EBV
