P500 thousand at stake in 21st Sinulog bowlfest

CEBU, Philippines — More than half a million pesos in cash prize is at stake for the winners of the 21st Sinulog Open bowling tournament slated on January 20-27 at the Gaisano Bowlingplex in Barangay Banilad, Cebu City.

Over a hundred bowlers all over the country including the legendary Bong Coo will be seeing action in the week-long tilt presented by Prima and sanctioned by the Philippine Bowling Federation (PBF).

 The categories to be contested are the mixed open, mixed senior, mixed classified, men’s and ladies senior classified, and  mixed youth.

Cash rewards will be given away to the top eight finishers in the mixed open, mixed classified, mixed senior and men’s classified and the top five in the other two categories.

Aside from that, the organizing Association of Cebu Bowlers, Inc. (ACBI) also offers P50,000 to any participant who can score a  “perfect game”.

Those who will come up with the overall highest game and the overall highest scratch during the qualifying period in both men’s and women’s division will get an additional incentive.
