CEBU, Philippines — Close to a hundred cue artists will see action in the Senator Manny Pacquiao and Cebu City Mayor Edgardo Labella’s ‘Sargo sa Cebu City 10-Ball Billiards Open Tournament’ that opens today at the Robinson’s Galleria Cebu.
The tournament will begin with a players’ briefing before the action goes full blast tomorrow.
Leading the cast is World Pool 2017 champion Carlo Biado along with 2015 MP 10-balls billiard champion Jericho Banares and China Open runner-up Anton Raga.
Expect a tough battle among the country’s top cue artists as the champion will receive P300,000, while the runner-up gets P200,000.
Aside from the competition, the event also serves as a fund-raising event for the Manny Pacquiao Foundation.The MPF helps in uplifting the lives of the grassroots community and spread hope through building homes, hospitals, schools, providing scholarships and disaster relief to victims of calamities.
