Cebuanos shine in Sinulog Off-Road challenge

CEBU, Philippines — Cebuanos dominated the Sinulog Off-Road Challenge the other day at the Upland Greens in Barangay Malubog, Cebu City.

Sandy Santillan of Cebu Off-Road Adventure Philippines (COAP) led the charge after winning the expert production class. His teammate Julius Dy and Judy Aison Borbajo clinched the second and third place, respectively.

COAP also had a 1-2 finish in the novice production class with  Zaldy Militante winning the title followed by Judy Borbajo as Ormoc 4-Wheeler’s Fredie Segovia settled for third.

As expected, Ormoc’s Christian John Doyon reigned supreme in the extreme division as two bets from Dipolog in Marlou Juan and Maiko Wong placing second and third place, respectively.

The event is organized by the Jeep Owners’ Club-Cebu and sanctioned by the National Association of Filipino Off-Roaders (Nasfor).

Aside from the Sinulog event, JOCC plans to organize more events, not only invitational and national events as well as an international competition in the near future.
