DOT Sec. Frasco remains one of top cabinet officials

CEBU, Philippines — Cebuana tourism chief, Secretary Christina Frasco, remained one of the top 3 cabinet officials in the country based on the latest nationwide RP-Mission and Development Foundation Incorporated (RPMDFI) survey.

Frasco improved her rankings and ratings after coming out second in the latest survey with an approval rating of 77 percent.

During the last quarter survey in 2022, Frasco was third behind Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos Jr. and then DSWD Secretary Erwin Tulfo.

Abalos kept his spot on top with an approval rating of 85 percent. His latest approval had also improved further than the last ratings.

Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin and Information and Communications Technology Secretary Ivan John Uy are tied for third spot with 75 percent approval.

Budget and Management Secretary Amenah Pangandaman ranked fourth with 73 percent approval and Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo is in fifth spot with 71 percent.

Meanwhile, President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., Vice President Sara Duterte, Senate President Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri, House Speaker Martin Romualdez, Senators, and current Cabinet officials also got impressive approval ratings.

President Marcos, Jr. who is also the agriculture secretary has 88 percent rating while Vice President Duterte who is also the education secretary has 86 percent.

Zubiri, for his part, got 62 percent while Romualdez had 60 percent approval ratings.

Zubiri’s fellow senators, Raffy Tulfo and Imee Marcos, shared the top spot as the top-performing senators both with 87 percent rating scores in the latest RPMDFI conducted from February 25 to March 8, 2023. (FREEMAN)
