In her sworn-statement, the 14-year-old victim who is a resident of Barangay Cogon-Pardo and also a member of AKHRO said that while he and his friends were at a disco at Pardo Gym on Sept. 23, 2018, the suspects who were on board a motorcycle stopped in front of them at Corner A. Gabuya and F. Jaca Sts., Barangay Poblacion-Pardo at around 12:20 a.m.

Castañares pulled unknown caliber of firearm and shot him hitting his right biceps.

He alleged that Abrao only pointed a gun at him while the minor was driving the motorcycle.

After the incident, the three left from the crime scene.

The victim said personal grudge was the motive of the incident because the three believed that he already joined Kalmados Gang, a rival group.

"They always threatened me to stay out of the group or else something bad will happen to me, but the fact that the other members of Kalmados Gang are also my friends, I did not listen of what they wanted," he said in his affidavit. — MBG (FREEMAN)
