Pororo at Jpark

CEBU, Philippines — As it turns 10 years old this week, Mactan’s Jpark Island Resort & Waterpark takes pride in its standing as Cebu’s leading go-to resort for families and leisure travelers.

Keen on consistently offering something new, the resort amps up its 10th year celebration with the forthcoming opening of a new attraction: “Pororo Island” at Jpark Island Resort & Waterpark.

Named after the popular Korean cartoon character “Pororo the Penguin”, the attraction is essentially a combination of a two-level Pororo-themed play park with 20 Pororo-themed kids’ rooms.

A go cart track is among the highlights of the play park, along with scheduled activities with “Pororo” and his friends, a range of mini theme-park rides, playground zones and more.

Famed for its waterpark facilities consisting  of six themed pools, three towering waterslides and a river pool facility, among many others, the opening of “Pororo Island” at Jpark Island Resort & Waterpark concretizes the resort’s standing as a family-oriented resort – a distinction that’s backed by the various awards and accolades it has garnered since 2009.
