Santo Niño Exhibit

CEBU, Philippines —  More than 50 Santo Niño images owned by devotees from different parts of the country are showcased in the exhibit “Celebrate Sinulog with Sto. Niño for the Year of the Youth.”

Presented by the Ayala Center Cebu in partnership with the University of Southern Philippines Foundation, the exhibit curated by Ms. Lourdes Jereza is now on its 18th year – a year count that essentially sets the exhibit as one of the metro’s annually revered Sinulog season highlights.

Opening on January 9 and ongoing until January 20 at the mall’s first level, this year’s exhibit is different from previous holdings as it features Santo Niño images that are owned by young devotees from Cebu, Dumaguete, Tondo and more – a grouping which is in line with the Philippine Catholic Church’s celebration of 2019 as the “Year of the Youth.”

Apart from Santo Niño images of varied sizes, the exhibit also features digital reflection guides that are linked to quick response (QR) codes that are presented next to a Santo Niño image included in the exhibit.
