CEBU, Philippines - Representatives of the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and SilkAir, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines, were in town recently to give updates of Singapore’s many travel highlights and attractions for 2016.

Conducted in a gathering billed “Destination Update” at the Manila function room of the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu, the occasion was attended by representatives of various local travel agencies, the local press and members of the local blogging community.

Adrian Kong, area director for the Philippines and Brunei STB, talked about a number of Singapore’s new attractions that provide first-time or repeat visitors to Singapore with memorable experiences – citing the engaging exhibitions of the Keppel Centre for Art Education at the National Gallery Singapore, the interactive multimedia theme park Mosh! in Sentosa and the Pororo Park Singapore located within the Marina Square shopping mall, among many others.

For its part, SilkAir cited various promotions that it is offering this season. Sure to be of interest to tourists is the airline’s “Singapore Explorer Pass” – which is a special “one-point access pass” that opens the doors of more than 20 of Singapore’s attractions at special rates.
