CEBU, Philippines — Dixie Lee Rey Oca of Cebu City’s Barangay Sapangdaku bested nine other candidates to bag the Sinulog Festival Queen 2021 crown in a pre-recorded event held at Fort San Pedro without an audience, still due to rising corona virus cases in the Queen City of the South. The program was taped Thursday night and uploaded on Sinulog Foundation Inc.’s (SFI) Facebook page Friday evening.

Oca, also named Best in Runway and Best Solo Performer, received P75,000 for her win.

Her court includes first runner-up Maria Angelica Pantaliano of Brgy. Tisa who was also selected Best in Festival Costume (designed by Lyndon Adolfo); and second runner-up Krisha Andrea Pekit-Pekit of Brgy. Punta Princesa, also awarded Best in Funwear and Miss Photogenic. Pantaliano and Pekit-Pekit took home P50,000 and P30,000, respectively.

Other awardees were Jackelaine Fleming of Brgy. Lahug for Miss Friendship, and Jewel Alexei Image of Brgy. Pasil for Most Glamorous Face.
