CEBU, Philippines - Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner are stepping up in the fashion world.
While the two reality star sisters have already worked with a myriad of brands ranging from PacSun to TopShop, they’re getting super official with their own Kendall + Kylie collection, which will debut in major department stores next month.
Ahead of the exciting debut, the girls are giving fans a sneak peek of the collection in Vogue magazine and opening up a bit about the importance of the new venture.
“This collection is really important to us because it’s a reflection of our point of view in the fashion world today,” Kendall explained. “We’ve matured a lot in our tastes and aesthetics and are inspired by so many people in the industry, that creating this line is something we’re really proud of.”
Varying from textured culottes to denim trench coats, sky-high caged heels to chic and comfy espadrilles, it’s obvious how the pieces are inspired by both Kendall and Kylie’s day-to-day looks as well as their fashion designer friends.
But, unlike their Chanel and Balmain-filled closets, these looks won’t cost fashionistas their entire paycheck. Starting at just $68, the collection gives females a designer look without the heavy price tag.
“This collection is our most elevated and sophisticated, yet it’s so versatile. There’s something for everyone, no matter your age,” Kylie added. “Kendall and I are excited to start wearing it and can’t wait to see our friends in it, too.”
The duo is also holding an event during New York Fashion Week to celebrate the launch of their spring 2016 collection. (FREEMAN)
