Suzuki Live

OVERSTEER - Norris See - The Freeman

Suzuki Philippines held its 2016 dealer’s convention at the posh Conrad Manila to celebrate the relationship Suzuki had with its dealers and partners.  The event, dubbed “Suzuki Live!,” was more than a conference as Suzuki made it into a concert themed experience with live entertainment led by Mr. Hiroshi Suzuki, President of Suzuki Philippines.  The event also gave a glimpse to the company’s future innovations and product development and then finally capping it off with awards to its exceptional partner dealers.

However, the main focus of the event was the direction that Suzuki Philippines is taking with regards to its latest product launchings to appeal to the millennials.  This started with a parade of the new “fashion colors” of Suzuki’s Smash and Shooter underbone motorcycles as well as a new look for the Suzuki Address scooter.

Suzuki is also bringing the Burgman 200 scooter to our local streets which is good news for those scooter riders that prefer more comfort, luxury and power.  This scooter is also perfect for touring duties since it is powered by a 200cc fuel injected engine, has ABS braking as standard and has a huge storage compartment.

The new matte black Raider R150 and J115 Fi was also introduced as an update to the current carbureted counterparts.  We were also treated to a sneak preview of the concept model of Suzuki’s famed sports bike, the GSX.

The party also included a yearend review of Suzuki’s Motorsports programs.   It was indeed a good night as Suzuki cemented it’s commitment to promoting Motorsports in the country by  introducing internationally renowned performance models to our local shores.
