[Title] => Norkis works to popularize multicab in Luzon
[Summary] => Norberto Quisumbing Jr., chairman of the Norkis Group, is not giving up on his dream of making the locally-made multicab a popular means of transportation in Luzon.

The multicab is a four-wheeled, mini-cab vehicle developed locally by the Norkis Group. It uses modified Suzuki and Daihatsu engines and parts to give rise to a newly-styled four wheeler for passengers and personal use.

It is designed smaller than most utility vehicles, but is larger than tricycles.

The multicab has been a hit in Cebu where it is ideal for Cebu’s narrow streets.

They’re being used as public utility vehicles, business vans, family vans, delivery pick-ups, and personal vehicles. They’re even used as shuttle vehicles by vacation spots and beach resorts, though they look more like golf carts with side-facing seats. They are perky, petite and perfect for the local road network. They are called Multicabs and Filcabs and they are manufactured by Norkis Trading Co., Inc.
