[Summary] => Promoting technology resources has been the goal of many people who are trying to bring business and investments to the Philippines. One of the main hurdles is that it is very difficult to convince someone that the Philippines is a safe and dependable country to outsource. We live in an age where we are introduced to different ways of communicating. And, because of all the choices, miscommunication is introduced when the users do not use the proper protocol for each communication device or application. An example is the use of texting as a communication tool. Is it a product/service that can be used for decisions that impact business? Or is it a tool that should be strictly leveraged for information services?

[Summary] => As you and I know, getting up to speed on technology and/or setting up the fundamentals/infrastructure is the next step if we want to keep up to speed in the international technology theater. So what process fits each entity the best? Is a public lead strategy better than a private lead strategy, or vice versa? How much government funding or incentive is needed? Where will it come from? Like any other hot issue, these questions can be debated on and on; they have been debated from cradle to grave. It was huge! It filled up an entire room with parts of it scattered in different buildings. It was a computer – a super computer – at its prime. During my past life as an instructor, one of the training exercises I often conducted focused on teaching fast yet safe actions of moving platoons, squadrons or fire teams in and out of harm’s way. For this exercise, mental strength was more important than physical. [DatePublished] => 2002-02-08 00:00:00 [ColumnID] => 133272 [Focus] => 0 [AuthorID] => 1681223 [AuthorName] => Rey A.
