Investigators identified the victim as 55-year-old Aurora Urfano, of  Project 4, Quezon City.


Traffic Officer 2 Ricardo Angeles said that Urfano was riding a Cubao-Remedios jeepney (TWJ-870) driven by Roger Bulusan at about 6:30 a.m. when it was hit by a private jeepney driven by Freddie Petalio, 40, at the corner of New York street and E. Rodriguez Avenue.

VY Domingo Pawnshop located at 35 Pio Valenzuela street in Barangay Marulas, was reportedly divested of assorted jewelry and other valuables when the robbers, who gained access to its vault room through the roof, destroyed the iron safety vault using an acetylene torch.
