In a dislosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, URC said it has also purchased Nestlé’s water source and manufacturing site for about P7.5 million.

In a statement, Nestlé Philippines said the sale is expected to be completed on April 2. Nestlé refused to disclose the price publicly-listed URC paid for the assets and trademarks.

Nestlé said it has decided to sell its water business because "is not doing well as expected." The company said it will just focus on its core competence like coffee production.
