Public Works and Highways Secretary Hermogenes Ebdane directed yesterday all DPWH field personnel to immediately repair roads and bridges destroyed by storm “Ondoy.”

Reports from the DPWH-NCR office disclosed that heavy rains caused by typhoons "Gorio" and "Huaning" damaged 109 out of 468 inventoried national roads in Metro Manila.
