But unlike in previous visits where the governor merely looked at the building from a distance, she really took time to go inside the structure and inspect closely the engineering works that were already completed as of past 9 p.m. last Friday.


The governor appeared satisfied with how the implementation of the project was being been carried.

                    [Summary] => Capitol has awarded three contracts for the procurement and installation of electro-mechanical equipment of the Cebu International Convention Center (CICC).


Governor Gwendolyn Garcia signed yesterday morning the notices of award for the CICC elevators and escalators, air conditioning system, and generator sets.


Capitol was able to save P15.8 million for the three separate procurements, as the prices for the items only totaled P46.2 million compared to Capitol's approved budget of P62 million.
