(PNOC) overseeing drilling operations in a gas field in a remote village here have sought the help of authorities to provide them with tighter security from possible assaults by any of the rebel groups operating in Central Luzon.
"We are starting to become conscious of our safety and security," said Francis Mendita, head of the drilling team dispatched by the PNOC’s Energy Development Corp. (EDC) to the Victoria Well-3 located in Barangay Masalasa here.
