The first two had passed away early, many years back, I was told. Joe Zagala, my bully of a seatmate for four years of high school, had "gone AWOL." But then, as punong-abala Lino Dionisio said, he and Nito Abad in the US had kept track of most of San Beda College’s High School Class of 1960, including those abroad. Zagala was one of several exceptions.
