                    [Summary] => No such thing as Octoberians in the West, except in referring simply to people born in October, like Leonardo da Vinci and John Lennon (both on Oct. 9). Only our academic calendar has given us our own tweak on the term "Octoberian," that is, someone who graduates from college after the first semester. That makes our grad either a slowpoke who had to add half-a-year of study (unless he/she entered college on the second sem), or an adelantado of a geek who hurried up the full-calendared course.
