A regional director of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and an assistant regional director of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) were ordered dismissed by the Presidential Anti-Graft Commission (PAGC) for violation of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices law or Republic Act 3019.


PAGC Chairwoman Constancia de Guzman said there was sufficient evidence against DSWD Region XII (Socsargen) regional director Kunesa Sekak and DTI-ARD for Central Visayas Perfecto Yap to warrant their dismissal from government service.
