The Eastern Police District (EPD) will deploy several officers and other units to secure detained former President Joseph Estrada when he spends New Year with his family in San Juan today.


EPD director Chief Superintendent Luizo Ticman said they monitored no threat against Estrada but just the same they would secure the route he will take from his detention in Tanay, Rizal, to his mother’s house in North Greenhills.
