Drilon said that today, bangus is the country’s top aquaculture product employing close to 300,000 fish farmers, entrepreneurs, processors and workers. Last year, we exported about $3.4 million worth of bangus products, a five-fold increase over the record in 2000 which was about $660,000, he said.
