                    [Summary] => The Federation of Philippine Industries  (FPI) is requesting the Supreme Court to take a second look a the recent decision of its Second Division to declare null and void the grant of definitive safeguard measures on imports of grey Portland Cement by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).


The FPI believes that the decision has far reaching implications for the local cement industry and for the achievement of one of the most important goals that President Arroyo has set for her six-year term, the generation of six to 10 million jobs.
