The Department of Tourism said 21 accommodation establishments in the National Capital Region and Calabarzon have been repurposed into isolation and quarantine facilities.

The Department of Health on said there is no need to stop community pantries, which are also good for physical and mental wellness, but guidance from local government units to ensure safety protocols is encouraged.

The department will issue guidelines to include additional precautions to be taken when administering the jab.

The Philippines has administered 1,456,793 doses in 3,155 vaccination sites nationwide, Health Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje said in a briefing.

"Stories on the community pantry focused so much on how it’s like an individual act alone, but in reality...it is community work," Non explained.
