NBI director Reynaldo Wycoco told reporters that Sammy Arinday, the alleged ground commander of the bombing operation, is now allegedly the politician’s chief of staff.


Wycoco refused to reveal the identity of the politician pending further investigation.

Judge Wilfredo Reyes of Regional Trial Court Branch 54 ordered the arrest of Sammy Arinday, Hadji Onos and Col. Efren Torres who face charges of multiple murder and multiple frustrated murder stemming from the Dec. 30, 2000 bombings.
